The Photography of Nick Eberhardt

Photography has deeply influenced my personal and professional journey. From a young age, I was surrounded by my father's extensive collection of photography books, which sparked my interest in the visual arts. Witnessing the launch of his first studio was an inspiring experience that highlighted the dedication and creativity required in this field.

During my high school years, I gained practical experience by managing the front desk of his studio and assisting on shoots, where I learned about the business and preparation sides of photography. After my time as a touring musician, I sought a stable career that would provide financial security. It was then that my father shared his knowledge of photography with me, guiding me as I took my first steps into the industry.

My initial foray into professional photography involved shooting product and advertising images for an apparel company. This position introduced me to the world of online commerce, where I would observe the relationship the brick and mortar stores shared with the online shopping experience and discovered my love for experience design. While I currently embrace photography as a hobby rather than a career, its influence remains ingrained in my life, embodying a connection to my family's legacy and my personal interests.
